Kikkoman Soy Sauce
Soy Sauce, is the blackish brown sauce that you find at every table of the sushi restaurant. Most of the time you will see that the soy sauce brand is by Kikkoman. You use this sauce to enhance the flavor of your sushi if the taste is a bit mild. Usually you would see people dipping their sushi into soy sauce if the sushi did not have pre-spread sauce on it but soy sauce can be used for any occasion. The proper way to use soy sauce is to use it mildly. Drenching the sushi into soy sauce will ruin the proposed flavors of the combination of ingredients in the sushi. For a sushi roll, mildly dip the corner of your sushi roll into the bowl of soy sauce to enhance flavor. For nigiri, turn it to the side and dip the fish first or whichever ingredient that is on the small block of rice. Make sure not to dip the rice first or the nigiri may fall apart. But if you like soy sauce that much, all I can say is, go ahead and enjoy yourself. I can eat a bowl of rice with just egg and soy sauce.
